Tea Tree Oil

8:48 PM

Hi lovelies! I'm finally back to blogging with another review post (no worries, an outfit post will be up tomorrow). This time I will be reviewing the 4 oz. bottle of Tea Tree Oil that was sent to me by Apothecary Extracts. http://www.amazon.com/Australian-Potency-Aromatherapy-Household-Cleaning/dp/B00GF1NZLY/ie=UTF8?m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&keywords=tea+tree+oil

First off, if you've never used Tea Tree Oil before, know that it's amazing! It's not your usual type of oil (it's not like coconut or castor oil in any sense), and it actually dries out your skin rather than moisturizes it. Though this may sound weird, tea tree oil was the main reason why my skin was able to clear up so fast (and permanently)!

Apothecary Extract's Tea Tree Oil is very high quality, 100% Pure Australian Tea Tree Oil. I love the packaging (the bottle is so much easier to open than my last bottle of tea tree oil from Tea Tree Therapy). If you're someone who suffers from acne, I'd definitely recommend you to look this up (or Google "Tea Tree Oil" to find the many other uses).

How I use tea tree oil: as a natural zit zapper! Basically, I take a drop or so on my finger (a little goes a long way, trust me), and I apply directly (after washing the infected area) to any acne blemishes. It helps fight the blemish and it usually dries it up so it's gone within 2 days. If you have sensitive skin, I would be careful as Tea Tree Oil can be really drying (there's been times when I've gone overboard with it and really dried out my skin until it was dry and flaky… so don't make the same mistake)!

Give it a try and tell me what you think!
