Christmas "Wishlist"!6:42 PM
Welcome to the stressful times of finals week ahaha. But then again, one more week left until the holidays! <3
Like I mentioned in an earlier blogpost: I can't make outfit posts until I'm finished with my exams (after this week). It really sucks, I know, but I thought I'd make the best of it. I have a lot of ideas planned for future outfits/posts, and I also will be making youtube videos with my best friend, Kaitlin (hopefully)! (We have a youtube channel, haha, it's "wearecateyes.") I definitely have a lot to look forward to for this winter break, both good and bad.
Anyway, regarding today's post, I saw a lot of these "wishlist" posts on other blogs so I thought I might as well do one too! ^^ It was actually quite hard making this because there's really not much I'm hoping for this Christmas, even some of these are just things I like that I randomly added. I love receiving any kind of gift when it's from a friend--especially books, makeup, clothes, shoes.
On to the wishlist.
#1 on my list is a new camera. I have a beautiful, wonderful Nikon DSLR that I love very much, but the only problem is I have an older model so I can't take video with it! I would love a nice point-and-shoot camera like the Nikon P520 or Canon Powershot SX50 HS that would allow me to take nice pictures and record 1080p HD video. I'm really hoping to get one this Christmas so I can make better videos! Plus, it would be a lot easier/faster to take pictures for my blog.
Apart from the camera, I'd love:
#2 RIPPED SWEATERS! I found this skeletal ribcage Lennon sweater on on Amazon for $30, and I've seen the same design by Wildfox Couture for much, much more (I don't think they sell it anymore). I love the Wildfox sweaters, but they cost so much! I would definitely recommend buying a knock-off on Amazon.
#3 Salem Boots by UNIF. These are some of the tallest/craziest boots I have ever seen, and I love them so much! I really doubt I'll be getting them anytime soon, though, because they have a steep price of $200....
Apart from the Salem Boots, I love the Hellbound boots by UNIF as well, and of course Jeffery Campbell's Litas.
#4 New makeup brush set--I have pretty cheap makeup brushes, so I wouldn't mind another set (also cheap--I found these by Pueen for $20 on Amazon). I'd really love some face brushes like a stippling and flat foundation brush, as well as a nice eyeshadow blending brush (which this set includes).
#5 Splat Hairdye in Aqua Rush. I have finally decided that I'm going to cut my bangs shorter (yay!), and then dye my bangs (a little bit more of them this time) aqua blue! I'm really excited for this--it's a compromise that I'm willing to take (but goodbye green hair plans ): ). Right now my bangs are currently Luscious Raspberries by Splat, and I'm fading them out (red is really hard to fade!).
Here is a picture of how I'm thinking of changing my hair:
I'll probably end up buying most of this stuff by myself, haha, but that's alright! I enjoyed making this post a lot! Again, I love Christmas for the spirit of celebration more than gifts, so this was really just a light, fun post rather than anything serious.
Have a good week!
