♡ Blinque Eyelashes Review ♡

11:00 AM

A couple days ago, I received a package in the mail from Blinque Eyelashes, and I pretty much screamed in happiness. If you know me, you know that I love to wear false lashes. I have pretty mediocre lashes--not long or curled, so I often skip the mascara and opt for falsies.

I'm probably most excited by the fact that Blinque offers tapered eyelashes. I've tried tapered eyelashes from KISS, and I love them because they add an extra-wispy, natural look to dramatic falsies. Sort of like the effect that mink lashes give--which is why they're so popular right now.

I've felt conflicted about using mink lashes, because even though mink lashes claim to be "cruelty-free," the animals are kept on farms in stressful conditions. Luckily, Blinque eyelashes are not made from mink, and instead are made from human hair, which is why the tapered lash effect is super important to me.

Blinque's lashes use the same numbering system as most inexpensive lash brands I've tried--including Red Cherry. You know, a 43 lash will always be a 43 lash, in Red Cherry or Blinque. I personally like this because I already know which styles to get.

Some of Blinque's eyelashes come in Red Cherry-esque packaging, and some come in a "fancier" packaging, as shown above. Personally, I prefer the Red Cherry packaging better since it's less bulky and easier to fit in my lash hoard collection.

So far, I've been really impressed by Blinque's line of eyelashes. They have quite a variety of styles and  they're very, very affordable ($2-3). I'm grateful that they offer tapered lashes, and I'm excited to see how this brand will expand over time!
